Madrid has two train stations: Atocha Train Station and Chamartin Train Station.
Atocha Train Station
The Atocha train station is divided into three: Madrid-Puerta de Atocha, Madrid-Atocha Suburban, and Atocha Renfe metro station
The Madrid-Atocha Suburban (Atocha Cercanías, in spanish) has train to the earby towns, to the Chamartin Station and medium-haul destinations. Suburban Train Map
The Madrid-Puerta de Atocha Station offers domestic and international destinations, as well as high-speed train (AVE).

Metro. Line 1 (stop Atocha Renfe)
City Bus: line 10, line 14, line 19, line 24, line 26, line 32, line 37, line 47, line 54, line 55, line 57, line 59, line 85, line 86, line 102, line 141, line N9, line N10 and N11 line. (City buses lines)
Madrid Chamartin Train Station
Chamartin Train Station offers suburban middle and long distance destinations. It also has a high-speed train (AVE) to connect Madrid and Valladolid (the rest of High Speed Trains depart from Atocha Station).
