Bullring of La Maestranza of Seville
Paseo de Cristóbal Colón 12, Sevilla
How to get there

The Bullring of the Royal Maestranza Cavalry of Seville is considered one of the oldest bullfighting arenas in Spain.  It is the location of the bull fights that take place in the city, having special relevance for the fans during the Feria de Abril

It is considered one of the most popular tourist attractions and is among the most visited monuments in the city.

The bullring was first built in 1749 to replace the rectangular bullring located in the same place.

The Bullfighting Museum of La Maestranza is housed under the stands of the bullring, opened in 1989.  Visitors can walk through the history of the national parties, with a pictorial collection, bullfighting posters, photos, costumes of bullfighting, bronzes, sculptures and tiles. The museum is also credited for highlighting the works of Mariano Benlliure and busts of legendary bullfighters.
