How to get there
The San Telmo Palace (current headquarters of the Presidency of the Council of Andalusia) was built in the XVII and XVIII centuries in Baroque style, as a school for sailors.
The door is one of the most beautiful examples of Churrigueresque art (Los Churriguera were a family of Baroque architects whose work was characterized by presenting a heavy decoration) In the attic appears the figure of San Telmo, the patron of sailors, flanked by representations of San Fernando and San Hermenegildo.
On the interior there is an imperial staircase, a large square courtyard, a hall of columns decorated with paintings by Raphael Tegeo and the church, with a single nave with a dome and plenty of baroque decoration.
