How to get there

The headquarters of the Episcopal Diocese of Cadiz, was first built in 1722 and was completed in 1838. Is called "Santa Cruz on the Sea" although gaditanos called the "New Cathedral" in contrast to the Old Cathedral (current Santa Cruz church) built by Alfonso X the Wise.

Inside the Cathedral you can visit the Torre de Poniente. It is one of the two twin towers of the cathedral, which is just next to the Arquitecto Acero street.

They offer panoramic views of the highest, at 74 meters in height.

Monday to Saturdays: from 10h to 19h
Sundays: from 13h to 18h30

General admission: 5 €

Free entrance from tuesdays to fridays from 19h to 20h and on sundays from 11h30 to 13h.
