Cadiz is the third core population of Andalusia and one of the most active economically and industrially. The city is situated on the coast near the Strait of Gibraltar.
It is the oldest city in the West with more than 3,100 years of history. It is associated with events such as the Punic wars, the romanization of Iberia, the discovery of America and the introduction of the first Spanish constitution.
It is known popularly as the Tacita de Plata (Sivler cup).
